Merry EXCESS...

In the frenzy of holiday preparations, I'm finding myself wondering about where did the "TRUE" meaning of Christmas, (along w/ holiday decorations) go... and how come there is so much "junk" out there.
I know I have no room to talk about going over the top, especially w/ professionally decorating 27 trees already this season, (w/ three dozen or so more to go in Chicago-Land these next two weeks)... BUT I attempt to do it tastefully, I think (and HOPE!). And at least for the past few years, I've tried to do it simply elegantly, botanically & organically, as well.
